The Sweetest Thing

Mealyworm likes to "silently" come into our bedroom around 5 or 6 am and stand by my side of the bed for a minute...of course her arms are full of all the animals, baby dolls and blankets she can possibly hold, then she proceeds to climb up on the bed and over me (mind you I'm hugely pregnant so that is NOT an easy task for a 2 yr old) to the middle of the bed. Then she crawls under the covers and just lies there. Sometimes falling asleep for a little bit, sometimes tossing and turning a bunch, and sometimes if I happen to be facing the middle she'll put her warm little hand right on my cheek and just trace the features of my face. Even though its the wee hours of the morning and I should be irritated...I can't help but think that is one of the sweetest things...ever.

Yes, I would go with sweet. Mine runs in, climbs over me, pokes me in the eye and says, "Mommy get up! It's morning!"

That is so cute! WW never traces my face, but she did come in last night with her huge squirrel stuffed animal and her equally as huge blanket and do the exact same thing. Toss and turn. Sit up and look around for a while and then when we said it's time for bed, she laid down and fell asleep.

Adorable!

AWWW! I love it when the kids trace my face! It's those moments that I'm going to miss the most....well, those and when we snuggle and I get to sniff their hair. They always smell so good!

Its funny but honestly my kids stink...most of the time..except right out of the bathtub. And I think babies stink too...spit up milk is always ever present on them. What am I doing wrong? Is there a baby lotion, shampoo, or detergent that I should be buying?

Um....I don't know why you have stinky kids. Hmm. Maybe I'm just over-cleaning mine. ;-)

I have to agree on the sweetness of a kid tracing your face. I know the day will come to soon when it will be over, and they will be to big for that.
